Arrive in Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to Machame Gate for registration and trekking briefing. Begin the trek into the rainforest and reach Machame Camp at 3,000 meters. Overnight in tents.
Trek through tropical rainforest to the Shira Plateau at 3,840 meters. Observe exotic plants and birds along the trail. Overnight at Shira Camp with scenic views.
